The brief of this project required us to pick a local shop from the vicinity of our campus, and build and design a mobile cart for that chosen shop.

The aim of this cart was to act as a sort of advertisement for the original shop. We were inspired by the whimsical feel of carnival carts, hence its shape. We intended to stay true to the entertaining experience of buying nuts by allowing the customers to dispense their choice of nuts on their own. Having those thoughts in mind, we created a path for the nuts to slide down, once they are dispensed by the customer. With a handle holding the multi-sized bags right under the door of the slide, the customer is able to pick a bag size and open the door allowing the nuts to slide right into the bag in which they had picked.

As for the employee, we designed an apron that holds their essentials together. A money pouch, a calculator, a brush to push down any remaining nuts on the slide and a space for the mixed nuts stickers to provide the customers with. The bags at the bottom of the cart act as a storage for the tubes to be refilled, if need be.
